A poly/cotton mix (often 65/35) is the workhorse of uniform polos. It feels close to cotton but shrinks and fades less, dries faster and copes better with hot washes, which matters if staff wash their own uniform every week.
That makes poly/cotton the sensible default for most teams, especially in trades, cleaning, warehouses and anywhere uniforms get hard use. Cotton feels softer for front of house, while polyester is lighter for active jobs.
A left chest embroidered logo is the standard, and many styles come in both men’s and ladies’ fits.
